Scope of Practice

• A doula can provide support in preparing for labor, birth, and postpartum.

• A doula does not have a medical license to catch babies, that’s a midwife.

• A professional cuddler is not a licensed therapist.

Consent, Confidentiality and Privacy

• All client identifying information will be kept private, on password protected devices. Intake forms are downloaded and deleted from Google Drive 24 hrs once received.

• Consent is fluid! The client has all rights to alter initial given consent.

• I will ask for written permission before sharing pictures, statements, referral information, and any other identifying information.
